School year 2015-2016
Are you as excited as I am for school to start? We are going to have a fun year as we learn about computers and what we create with them. Please take a look at the 1st semester assignments and what your grade level will be creating as their signature assignment. Don't worry I will teach you and give you all the tools that you need to complete your assignments successfully. But, remember to be original and use your own work. K-5 1st Semester Lessons
Grades K-5 will be doing activities on Growing Course in class. Growing Course is a fun interactive web page that teaches the students about computers and technology. Feel free to take a look at the website. http://growing.course.com/index.html
K-1- Will learn how to use the computer, type and will play interactive games. They will also be using a program called Teach Your Monster How to Read. http://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/
This program teaches the students phonics and how to read in a fun way.
2-3- Will use Starfall for Reading, Writing, Language Arts and Technology.

Assignments- 15-30 minutes of Starfall and Mobymax per night.
Second and third grade students will learn how to use the internet and will research a famous person in history. Second grader students will write a 2 page report about that person.
